Our Service Partners
Transparency about how we connect homeowners with local professionals.
How Your Information Is Used
When you submit a request through Handy Work, your information may be shared with one of our vetted local service partners. This page explains exactly how that works.
Types of Service Professionals We Work With
Our network includes licensed and insured contractors across the following service categories:
Our Verification Process
We take lead quality seriously — both for homeowners and contractors. Here's how our verification process works:
- You submit a request — You fill out our form with your project details, location, and contact information.
- We verify your identity — We send a verification email to confirm you are a real homeowner with a real project.
- You confirm and qualify — You click the verification link and answer qualifying questions about your project type, budget, and homeowner status.
- We match you with one pro — Only after verification is complete do we share your information with a single matched contractor.
What Information Is Shared
When we connect you with a service partner, we share the following information:
- Your name and contact information (phone, email)
- Your project details (service type, timeline, description)
- Your location (city, state, zip code)
- Your qualifying answers (project type, budget range, homeowner status)
This information is shared with one contractor only — we never sell your data to lists or share it with multiple companies simultaneously.
Your Rights
You can request to have your information deleted at any time by contacting us at privacy@localhandywork.com. Submitting a request is always voluntary, and you can opt out of any communications at any time.
TCPA Disclosure
By submitting a request on our site, you consent to be contacted by Handy Work and a select local service professional regarding your project via phone, text, or email. This consent is not a condition of using our site. You may revoke consent at any time.
